anyone have these? do you like them? I am shopping for new PH and saw these and have read how they have ALOT of gentle flow. I have a 75 gal and thought maybe they would be real nice. I don't like the heads with a long intake hanging down...sooo..what do you all think? ***)

I have the 820, I got it for Christmas and I like it so far. I also have a 75 gallon tank. I have a Tunze NanoStream 6045 on order, and hope to be getting it soon. It does 1189 gph. Hopefully the 2 of them should be enough for some SPS.

i have the seio 820 as well, its in my 30 gallon and it gives a decent amount of flow, but not enough. if you have the money i would go with the tunze streams, or the tunze nanostreams (which are a little cheaper), they offer more flow.

i have 2 820's in my 125 great flow, i have 1 820 in my 56 great flow and i have a 820 in my 48 bow great flow.
I love them, i placed a 820 next to a nanostream and they are about the same.
But everyone will say the MaxiJet 1200 MOD will out perform them both for a 1/4 of the price.

My main concern in my tank at the moment is the diatoms..the light brown on my aragonite. I comb the sand a little to make it disappear but it is right back the next day. I use all RO water, my nitrate, nitrite, ammonia is all at 0...I run my daylight halides(2x150) 8 hrs a day. I have some green algae on the back (it's not long hair like it's just on the glass., but I keep up with the other 3 sides. I have a 75 gal by the way. the LR doesn't have any hair algae but there are different colors on it along with coraline algae. I am guessing I need more flow. I use a mag 7 return in my sump to pump up to tank and I have 2 RIO 800 in the DT. I need suggestions on what kind of powerheads to get if that is the problem. Right now if I move my PH down at all they blow my aragonite around. Please..any suggestions?.,. I want alot of flow but I don't want sand everywhere! Alot of people told me the flow is my diatom problem on the bottom..true? oh..am I using the wrong attachment for flow direction? I use the attachment that is wide with slit across it for like a wide stream...
