Separating anemones and clown fish?

I have a couple of anemones that I will be selling soon. One is a rose that house a pair of perc clowns and the other is a long tenticle with a small perc clown. When I sell the anemones what will, if anything, happen to the fish? I found that the pair will pick on the smaller one. I inherited this tank from a friend and he already had these fish and they were fine together. Should I sell the fish with the anemones or should I consider just gettting rid of the smaller fish?

I guess that would be up to you. The smaller fish will more than likely be ok unless the other two clowns are a mated pair. If I was going to sell the anemones though I would probably sell the fish right along with them to help the anemones maybe acclimate to their new homes a little quicker. HTH

IMO, when you sell the anemones, sell the small perc. too. I am assuming the bigger ones are mated since you said pair and they are housing in the same one. If that is the case, the smaller perc. could get picked on worse with no shelter. I am not certain though. I just took out my anemone for my sebae (had it for at least 5 months, maybe more) and placed in my smaller tank, and the clown seems ok--out more instead of darting to the "home" all the time. HTH some

They should be ok but they are going to wonder where their home went :) As for the small perc definitely find him another home. It will be likely the pair will kill him for invading their space. SInce you can keep corals try buying a nice hammer/frogspawn for them. They will take to it after a little while. Mine has.
