Set Up For 240 Gallon Saltwater Tank

I Am Searching For Some Advice On The Proper Set Up For My 240 Gallon Saltwater Tank. Setup Meaning Right Size Of Protein Skimmer Advice On Good Brands That Are Easy To Maintain Etc...i Also Would Appreciate Advice On Lighting. I Have 150watt Mh X3 Will I Be Able To Or How Can I Retrofit 250 Or 400 Watt Mh Into My Existing Retrofit Kit Which Is Made By Aqualight Pro? I Want To Have Clams And Soft Corals And If 250 Isn't Going To Do It Then I Would Like To Go Straight To 400 Watt. As You Can See I Was Misled When I Purchased The Retrofit Kit With 150 Watt Mh. I Am Trying Not To Repeat This Scenerio Again, And Am In Hopes That Someone Out There With A Large Tank Or The Knowledge Could Please Help Me Out, I Would Greatly Appreciate It.

take a look at octo's and ASM skimmers. both get really good reviews

depending on how much room you have under your tank, an ASM G-3x or a G-4.....makes sure to get something rated a little higher than what you have incase you ever decide to upgrade..

Do you have a sump/refugium? I have a 225G tgank, and i bought a Sealife Systems Pro300
It came with a protein skimmer...and it works great....
Just google sealife systems wet dry.....
