Hello, I am in the process of re-setting up my 10 gal to a reef. It was previously fish only with 2 damsels. now that they are gone, heres what ive done so far:
- changed lighting to 96 watt coralife
- put in 5 lbs live rock from my 40 gal (I am getting 10 more lbs after work today)
- put in larger filter (penguin 170)
I only want 1 fish in it, looking for suggestions? and also what corals will be ok with the 96 watt lighting (clams??) is there any other equipment that i need for a tank that small?
thanks, john

Good choice with the lighting ...that's what I have on mine. Everything sounds good. No clams though. You'll be able to keep any soft coral you want. :D
I have 2 occellarius clowns in mine...you can also consider gobies.

Well, I chose a Yellowhead Jawfish. He made a big sandpile overnight. funny to watch. I also set up a 15g as well with the same lights and filtration as the 10, letting it cycle with 15 lbs live rock,i bag of live sand, and used about 5 gallons of water from my 40. will that speed up the cycle?
