setting up a 20 gal nano

I was wondering on how feasible it is to set up a 20 gal nano reef using the eclipse hood. I have no prior experience with then, but i do have a few 20 gal tanks laying around taking up space. i know witht the lighting i can not do any hard corals, but i was thinking soft coral / mushroom tank. about 20-30 lbs of lr and a dsb. i think it would be the eclipse 2 hood. basically i want a small reef i can keep on my computer desk.

i would ditch the eclipse hood- it is pretty much junk IM- I have a 20 gal nanoand as everyone knows im picture happy about this tank-

30 lbs live rock

nice tank! where did you get the blue zooanthids?
what i was looking for was to not have a stand at all. just the tank sitting on my desk. makes it harder to have any filtration.

Did you ever figure out what that carnation looking thing was on your LR? That thing had everyone stumped!

sure didnt- but im convinced it is some type of red algae- still cant find a perfect match- this this has gotten much larder and feels like jello- also notice the bubbles it keeps producing- so im just about sure it is algae
