And can someone please tell me what a rotifer is and where to get them? Are they different from copapods? Help needed. second batch of eggs about to hatch, but wana have this up by the third.

if you just want to raise one batch all u will need is a ten. if u want to raise more than one batch u will need more tanks due to there different food requirements. if ur gonna just use one tank add a sponge filter to the parents tank so it can obtain beneficial bacteria. after most of the larvae have metamorphed u can add the sponge filter. for the rotifers u can get them from florida aqua farms and a bunch of other sites. for lights just regular flourescent light will work. if the lights r to bright it will appear that they are standing on their heads so then u will need to raise the lights or put eggcrate between the lights and the tank. u can add sand once they have metamorphised if ur using a sponge filter. it will probaly start the cycle but the sponge filter should take care of it and frequent water changes
