Setting Up A Quarantine Tank In The Garage - Feasable?

I am thinking of setting up my Quarantine tank (55G) in my garage. I live in Idaho, and was planning on using a 500W heater for consistency.
Would the tank be viable year round? The summers can get around 100 degrees, but there is some level of insulation in the garage.
Thoughts?

It should be alright. In the summer months just remeber to keep fans blowing on it and keep monitoring the temp. Be sure the temp stays stable.

temperature set aside, i'd be concerned what you do in your garage. car fumes, paint fumes, gas fumes... they are going to get into your water chemistry.
