OK i work for a lfs and i am setting up our first saltwater tank, a 65 gallon reef. I have a general Idea what i want. I am thinking a 3.5 inch sand base with ls half and half dry aragonite. 50 lbs of lr and 50 lbs lace rock, tring to cut down on a little of the cost. If this good? I would like some help with the lighting and filtration needs. It is going to be a nice set up i want to be able to put almost anything in it. Any help would be aprechated.
Thanks Jeff

Good luck on the reef venture! I personally use VHOs but I rather would have used PCs. For filtration: a sump (not wet/dry) maybe a refugium and a good quality skimmer. For in sump skimmers, the reef devils and aggressors are good.
