setting up brackets on current usa orbit

stupid question but how do you attach the brackets to mount the light over the tank on a current usa orbit?

If you are using the legs that came with it you will notice that on one end of the fixture you will see a line that divides two pieces of plastic. Basically the whole glass undercarrage will end up sliding over a bit and then you can get the legs started to slide down. It would have been nice if they had that in the instructions. I had to stare at it like a monkey doing a math problem for a while before I noticed the underpart would slide.

I was able to get the legs slide on to that track but now the plastic splash guard does not fit all the way back on. Is it suppose to?

Setting up the orbit was a witch. The instructions absolutley sucked. I like the product though.

I hated setting it up also. I also love the light. The one thing I don't like is the small amount of distance between the light and the tank when the legs are used. The legs break easily too--have had to replace 3 of them thus far.
