Found this setup on Craigslist. Just was wondering if you guys think its a good price?
75 gallon Oceanic Reef Ready salt water aquarium with Oceanic solid cherry oak wood cabinet. Great shape. The tank/cabinet fit in very well in a room with fine furniture; this is a very nice looking setup. Updated Coral Life 4X65 Power Aqualife lighting system good for coral reef systems.
Also includes:
Sea Life 175 Wet/Dry filter
Quiet 14000 pump
Sea Life 150 Motorized protein skimmer

It's an okay price. Honestly, I would not pay that much for used equipment when there's really nothing there that's amazing. Think of it this way: $800 is not going to get you new inserts, etc for the pumps, or new light bulbs which you WILL need. I've noticed that w/ a lot of used equipment, the pumps die within a few months.

Yeah, usually everything on Craigslist is obo. I'll have to kick it around since its about 2 1/2 hours away. But, I do want to pick up a new tank, and that is the perfect size. Hmmm....

All my tanks except my 14G have been used tanks. Even my 155, I never paid more than $500 total for a used setup.
My 155G cost $100 for the tank w/ T5HO lighting, 40G sump, overflow, pump, heater, $250 for a 72" Coralife Aqualight (3 150 watt halides), $150 for a protein skimmer. The entire setup was 1 1/2 years old, he had receipts for everything....

wow. it would be awfully nice to find a deal like that. I think i might check with my lfs. I know he has a few used tanks there, just not sure what he has, and what the prices are like.

i got my 90 gallon wave tank with a skimmer, empty 55 gallon (for sump), sump pump, overflow, powerheads, coralife lPC light, live sand live rock and a huge lionfish for 500.00
Looking around ive seen even better deals than that since then.
800 is ok, but I'll bet you cn do better if you are diligent about watching every day for the perfect tank

I got my 125G off of craigslist too. IT was 2 years old, came with stand and canopy, lights (nothing special), Rena xp4 filter, 2 300W heaters, 3 air pumps, a ton of miscellanious maintenance equipment, 200lbs live rock and about 120lbs of live sand. Got it all for $400 dollars because they were moving and had to sell. The way I see it, the live rock and sand alone was worth about $400 bucks, so everything else was just a bonus. Still plan on ugrading lights, flow and building a sump though.

I'll just keep an eye out for tanks then. This was the first one I saw on there, so I guess I kind of jumped the gun. Thanks for the advice!
