Sexy Shrimp

im definatly looking into getting a few pretty quick here!
should i introduce them to my anemones? or just drop them in?

you can safely put sexy shrimp in your reef. they will get along with most fish and shrimp, and as they are really really fast, they are able to keep away from most predators. my sally lightfoot was trying to eat mine over and over, but as soon as the crab touched them, they shot like lightning to the other side of the tank. i was really amazed at how fast these guys are. i reached in once to touch one- and he moved so fast i didnt even see him move- just saw where he ended up. My seahorse, however, was able to get them, as it is a very sly hunter. the shrimp had no idea that the 'branch' that was near them was about to have them for lunch!
one of the LFSs here in the buffalo area stocks these almost all the time.
Again, i'll echo was was stated earlier- they are not harlequin or anenome shirmps. they are a cool addition- they call them 'sexy shrimp' becuase the y wave their butt around n a provacative maner. i have never found this to be a turn on-- but you know, scientists are locked up in thoses labs so long- lots of stuff starts looking good! :)
oh-- i found that moose site too when i was looking for info on these guys! :)

can i add a little tank raised black seahorse to my 29 gal reef?
there are areas with minimal flow,,...away from the BTAnemones and frogspawn.
what do you think? they are eating frozen brine at the lfs
