i have been really slacking when it comes to my tank. i've spent too much time snowboarding and way too much money on new windsurfing gear. i had one hell of a time breaking-in my skimmer, but its finally pulling stuff out.
my torch coral and candy cane have been looking a little shifty the last week, so i figured a decent water change was in order. so i mixed up 30 gallons and tested the water. NITRATES WERE AT 80ppm! i did the water change and immediately started mixing another 30 gallons to do another water change tomorrow.

well, two days after the first water change some of my LPS is looking a good bit better. i havent checked the water chemistry yet this morning, but i have another 30 gallons mixed and will do another water change shortly.
