IMO this is one of the worst trades that the suns can make...say good bye to there "run-and-gun" offence...

Its not a bad trade... Marion is going to be gone next year anyway if he had stayed with the Suns this year... so instead of getting nothing they got Shaq. This does benefit the Suns potentially because now they have a dominant big man that can play with Duncan or Gasol in the West.
2nd it benefits Miami because they get rid of a huge contract and given their record they will get a very good draft pick if their season continues as it has. Marion will still probably go somewhere else next year, which will free up more cap room for the good free agent market that is coming up next year.

yes but TO and Moss are still in their prime... Shaq cant run the floor anymore this is his 17th season and he doesnt dominate like he used to... not to mention i havent seen Moss hurt and when TO gets hurt he is back qwik!!! the Deisel takes a 1/2 season off to get better...
and also neither of them are going through a divorce!!! that will crush a person emotionally which carries over to all aspects of ones life...

The trade: Another 'Welcome to the NBA salary cap' issue. Miami did get the best of the deal. They are going nowhere and will clear lots of salary with no Shaq and after this year, no Marion.
The Suns get to tell themselves and/or their fans that they have a legitimate 'big man'. The lack of which has caused them to flame out in the post season. Shaq will play hard for the rest of this season and may actually help them in the post season. Unfortunately,

I am a very happy guy to have the matrix here with me. If shaq get reinvigorated he will definitely help the suns with an inside presence and give them 15 and 8 a game, THANK- YOU SHAQ for everything you have done for us. and that lovely trophy 18 months ago. Its rebuilding time for my peeps and you have left us with excellent rebuilding pieces.. Time to look for a new avatar...
