Have not been there. Now with your recommendation I will check it out next time I visit Flint, providing it is still there and open. As you may know even before the downturn in the economy Flint was becoming a ghost town and is not getting any better.

Here is a recipe....easy and DELICIOUS
DUMP CAKE
1 can crushed pineapple with juice
1 can cherry pie filling
1 yellow cake mix
1 1/2 sticks butter
handful of pecans (more if you really like them)
Pour and distribute evenly a can crushed pineapple in a 9 x 13 pan
Spoon a layer of cherry pie filling on the pineapple
sprinkle dry yellow cake mix on that
Cover the top of dry cake mix with thin slices of butter
sprinkle with pecans
Bake 375 until done....about 40 minutes
IF you like coconut yo ucan sprinkle that on top too
I HAVE MADE it both ways, and BOTH are excellent. My sister in law makes this all the time, and I tried it this past Christmas YUMMMMMM.....
