Well collection season for me is comeing up in the spring and i plan on getting blacktips, sharpies, nurses, and others if needed but to the point. im willing to half the price of any online retailer "other than {EDIT}or anyother auction sites i dont know" on any sharks i get for anyone. my partner asked me yesterday when i asked him what he thinked about this deal "why do you want things to be so cheap?" and i simply told him that sharks are expensive as hell sometimes and alot of people have ponds that can keep them but dont want to pay 1100$ for a shark. thanks for your time.
PS. I will need tank pics, and equipment specs because i wont sell to just anyone.

Just so we get this straight for everyone.
Your talking about prices in the following range.
Nurses - $75-125
Blacktips (Atlantic) - 450-600
Atlantic Sharpnose - 175-225
Bonnetheads - 350-450
Lemons - 300-400
Atlantic Smooth hound - 125 -175
And of course this doesn't include shipping.

Also - I though shark collecting season didn't open until April, and lasts until late Sept.
Also what are your minimum requirement for each species?
I have a list that could be helpful.
Although my "ethical" list would likely scare most people off the idea of keeping most of these sharks.
Key examples from the ethical list- blacktips & nurses - needing about 25,000 gallons.

my ethical list is very close to yours, and yes the season starts in april but im trying to get things going now so im not in a rush come spring.

Understandable - considering you'll need the time to get commerical & business premits, and set up contacts.
Also - what other species are you considering on your list?

Well - I've also heard that both Blacknose & Finetooth sharks are available off the N.C. coast.
And both sharks stay under 6 ft in length. Blacknose require premits to keep and grow to 5 ft. I don't believe Finetooth require premits - and are built like Blacktips.
You also could list mullets. I know mullet fry are used as bait fish, and make an excellent natural prey for sharks (especially atlantic species).
there are several species of atlantic fish that could be kept with these shark - although most will like these will end up as potential food. there' s also several different species of crabs - like the blue crab. All found along the carolina coast.

I was wondering what species would you recommend for someone with a setting up a 6,000 gallon tank - that's roughly 25' long x 7' wide x 4.5' deep.
I've been talking to supermanvx -this is the the tank he's setting up. He's stated that he wants a cool requiem, and/or possible bonnetheads.
I suggested the sharpies, and told that a bonnet may be possible.
What your thoughts?

Both but if you mixed the sharpies with the bonnets, the bonnets wouldn't get that much food considering that sharpies are very fast swimmers. remember us talking about me haveing to get rid of the sharpies i had because the blacktips couldn't compete at dinner time. but if he really wanted to he could mix them it would just take alot of spot feeding, i personally have never had either one of those sharks "fight" with other species. so it will work.

Still - either shark is better for that tank than what he originally wanted - a couple of blacktip reefs.
I was actually consider a good option for him - may be to include natural prey items for both sharpies & bonnets.
Like live shrimp & crabs for the bonnet & live mullet fry for the sharpies, this way the sharks can actually hunt.
But he's also talking about swimming with the sharks.

live foods for both species considering they eat different things would help alot but he would need a constant supply of blue crabs and feeder shrimp and flounder if someone could catch them"me". you would need something other than mullet for the sharpies, but im not sure of anything else that we would catch, do you have any ideas? blacktips are a bad idea.

A word of advice..... If it appears you are using this site to promote a business, which basically this would be (eg you are not getting rid of your livestock, but obtaining animals in quantitiy to specifically sell), you will be banned. So take what you will from that
Just an FYI as I don't want to see it happen.

ok i got lost in that statement, r u or r u not banning sebae? also technically if some1 wer selling their huge cup coral becuz it was the only thing that fit in the tank technically wouldnt that not be going against forum rules? if i stop making sense at any point feel free to ban

No, he is not.
And it is different when you are selling livestock because you are taking your tank down, etc.
But if you are SPECIFICALLY collecting animals with the intent to sell them to make money, you are effectively a business, and you may not come here to advertise for customers. There is a very big difference. Now if you were fragging your corals and selling them, that would be a similar situation and we try and stay on top of that. If people continue to sell frags even after they have been asked to stop, they will be banned. It is considered at that point a business.
So all I am saying here is, basically, please do not advertise a business to catch and sell sharks.
