Depending on how developed the embryo already is, it can take as long as 6 months.
Was it an impulse buy or are you set up to properly care for the shark, for it's entire life?

Well I'm actually pretty new to it all. The fishstore has helped me alot. But maybe you can tell me what the proper set up would be?

What is the size of the tank and what are the other inhabitants?

55gal 1 angel fish, 2 clownfish, 1 basket starfish, 4 different kinds of anemones, 1 seahorse, 1 cleaner ship and lots of different corals and life. In about 1 month I will have my 125 set up though.

Minimum tank size, for your shark...you're looking at a 240gal. - 300gal+.
Sounds like you need to find a new fish store, because they're just telling you anything, to make money.

I totally agree. They sold you a shark egg, a basketstar? 4 DIFFERENT KINDS OF Anemones? TO a new tank? A 55 g? I would IMMEDIATELY return many of these while you can, because I am sorry to say their advice is TERRIBLE and clearly they have made a pretty penny off you.
This is not to be harsh, but these are some seriously difficult things to deal with.
Anemones are pretty tough to keep in new tanks and need very special lighting. My guess is that they didn't tell you this either. Also, they are likely to wage war against each other.
I could go on.....

Stores like that make me super angry.

Wow.. as Ophiura says, time to get a new store.
Depending on the species of Bamboo shark, you're looking at minumum 2+feet of fish....
We've discussed Basket star on the other post.
Anemones need well established tanks, and strong lighting. Most corals also need well established tanks. Anemones should never be kept in mixed groups in a tank. They can chemically attack each other (and other species can get caught in the crossfire).
Sea Horses should not be kept with anemones or other stinging corals.

oh gosh, I didn't even see the seahorse.
THis is simply an unworkable combination. Just will not work.
