No thanks. Why would ANYONE buy a fish that wasnt in good health before they bought them? Fish can still die in QT.

At a lfs by me, they have a puffer, I couldnt tell you what kind, but its over a foot long, in a 20 gallon tank, the poor thing can hardly move. For about a week, they had a yellow tang in with it, and one other fish...in a 20. I went back a couple days ago to see if anybody died, and the yt and other was gone, but the puffer was suffering a bad case of ick. Its pretty sad, considering the rest of the store is really nice.

whats sad is some stores dont kno that theyre doing anything wrong, like theres an lfs about half an hour south that had like a dozen little yt's in a 30 and i said "how long have they been like that?" "ooh about 5 days, there wer about twenty more, they all died for some reason tho" :scared:

ASPCA has no control or jurisdiction over fish sales(especially marine). My buddy gets a call once in a while saying "your tanks have algae on the back of the glass" from *NUTS* who don’t have a clue what an algae problem really is...BTW his tanks are AWSOME and not over stocked! And there are no sharks or Idols in a beta’s bowl...haha
Too bad other lfs’s don’t take better care of there stock.
