is it possible? bamboo shark in a reef tank? any answers. just think that would be pretty cool
maybe if you have a HUGE reef, im not sure what they do with corals but i imagine they would try and eat any fish they could, along with snails, hermits, and shrimp. (i am not sure though maybe someone else that knows will reply)

Sorry for me I don't see the point of having fish for 6 months then having to tear the tank apart to get him out. I tried that once with a Arrowana. The tank was big enough for life for him, but once he reached 20"es it was hell trying to find someone who had a tank large enough to take him. Not worth the headache, save your self some trouble.
just my 2 cents

is there any reef safe eels? i get different answers all the time
you can have a dwarf golden moray eel. As long as nothing can fit into its mouth.

snowflakes and golden dwarf morays (though pricey) are generally considered reef safe eels. There are some others, but those are off the top of my head.
The thing about eels is that they're "reef safe" because they don't bother corals. They can, however, bother clams, snails, crabs, shrimp and sometimes even fish. I've had my snowflake for about 2 months and he has never touched anything in my reef.

oh and just so you know you would have to have small fish if it was going to get your fish because i think i read somewhere they are about the size of a pencil, just longer.

yeah. idk im just thinking of new things cuz i have a 55 gallon and really limited on like anything but damsels and clown fish
your not that limited.. if you want to go reef.. (but it sounds like you want to go aggressive which then yes you are limited..)
some reef safe fish to look at:
yellow wrasse
sixline wrasse
flame wrasse
fairy wrasse
blackcap basslet
royal gramma
clownfish
bangaii cardinals
blennies (not leapord)
jawfish
watchman gobies
sand sifting gobies
firefish
dwarf angels---possibility of being not reef safe
anglers---not safe with anything that can fit in its mouth, but safe with corals.
chromis
gobies (not mandarin dragonets and probably not scooter blennies)
those are just some ideas.. if you like any make sure you ask or find out if they will go along with eachother cuz most wrasses dont like being with other wrasses and jawfish dont go well with other gobies in the sand and blackcap basslets and royal grammas will fight etc.

ya but you have a 55 gallon.. so please dont get a tang... but if you going to get one even tho pretty much everyone will tell you not to dont get an open swimmer, instead get someting like a kole or tomini... but it would be better if you just didnt look at tangs.

wait just re-read.. in one post you said you had a 150 and another post you said you had a 55, so if you have a 150 you could get a couple tangs imo.
