hes most likely a young shark im guessing? he will need a variety of foods in his diet so i would recomend stocking up on a few different things for him to feed on.not only to prevent boredome but each species of food you give has a differnt diet from the other this gives them the nutrients from his foods. large silverslides arent the best young sharks they cant chew them like more agressive sharks would so he needs smaller sized foods. you can cut the silverslides to make it easier to swallow(they can choke on large peices)
I feed mine krill, mysis shrimp.squid, chopped silverslides, chunks of raw fish fellets(sw species only) you can also use crab meat(raw and not imitation) i soak all my fish foods in garlic extreme and selcon for extra nutritional needs priar to feeding.if hes under 1 ft be sure to feed him at least 2 times per day as he grows feed once a day.if hes not hand feeding make sure your seeing him eat the foods when you feed them at least from the bottom.

ps some of the food you buy at local grocery stores like cleaned squid (tubes and tenticles) raw shrimp(peeled with veins works best),scallops, boneless fish(make sure its not fw species)then the rest at LFS this will save a bit of money making a couple stops and lfs doesnt carry everything

stop feeding him brine it does him no good at all. try adding some chopped squid to his diet to replace the brine I started mine with squid yum yums they are vit fortified also he may like clams too mine doesnt but i hear some do at a week old hes far to delicate to feed the wrong foods.he may also do well with phlanton its sold in small cubes and looks alot like mysis but is very healthy fo him also add selcon and garlic to his foods this will help him boost his natural ability for imunity again alot of illnesses
one small fact about brine its the cheapest food on the market .ever wonder why?

mine is in a 125 and is going to be going in a at least a 240, im going to be buying a house and ill get the new tank then, he should be ok in there for a while. The only time mine eats brine is when the other fish eat it, mysis is his main diet, he loves that stuff. im going to the petstore to get some squid to see if he likes that. thanks for the help
