can i put a bonnethead shark alone in a 770 gallon (120x48x36) its not set up yet cause i'm thinking of the fish i should get for it. i know they do better in schools but that tank isn't big enough for a school. i saw one alone in the shedd aquarium in a carribean reef tank

Too small, IMO.
They'll max out at 3' - 4' feet and need an oval or round shaped pool/tank.

Scott Michael's book recommends a minimum tank size of 2700 gallons. They get about 5 ft long.

That's not exactly a fact. I've seen more than quite a few, in captivity, that have grown larger than 3'.

the bonnethead needs a very big turn radius because of their shape. they are a very good shark for captivity that actually is active.
