shark/ray lagoon setups?

does anyone here have one? My LFS has a sweet setup with about 15 small rays, 2 sharks, and a few random fish that I guess they overflow into it when large enough.

Im actually building a mini house shed out back. I have an acre to fill up. Concrete floor. Its going to be 20'x16' with 8 foot walls. I have the tank in mind with the build. The one that is there now has power but its too small. Im playing with a few ideas. It will be at least 10 feet long and 4 feet wide. Not too deep. Im going to try and build little ones till I perfect the idea. I want to try and place plexiglass viewing windows on the side so Its entirely a look down tank. The flow will cause the water to be "wavey" and the view wont be very clear unless the pumps are off.
