Shark tank build

Hey guys, I'm planning to set up a 750 gallon shark tank with corals, so obviously I need a great protein skimmer, since a sharks bio load is huge and would kill the corals instantly. I thought instead of getting a super expensive skimmer rated 1500 gallons, I could get 2 750 gallon protein skimmers. Would that be efficient? Thanks. Also is there different types of protein skimmers and equpment for each type of tank ( FOWLR, FO, AND REEF?)

750g is small for a shark tank.
You need to do more research. Especially if you have to ask if algae is alive.

Why not build the biggest one you can afford from the start? Taking a few years to build a large shark tank instead of having an insti-one will give you more satisfaction.
And yes, i have seen a 30" black tip shark swimming circles in an 800g before and it was not pretty. I felt sorry for the shark.

Actually, 750 is great for a while. But later is ill upgrade to a bigger one.
Great for a while??? Again, I am going to ask... Are you being serious???
These are expensive enclosed environments that can take years to setup and stabilize properly. This is not a carnival goldfish bowl... Where you just go to Walmart and get the next step up size bowl when the fish outgrows its home.
For a quality 750g shark system, I would guestimate (total guess here) that it would cost in the neighborhood of $25000.00 to get up and running well.
So your saying after spending that kinda loot on a tank, just to upgrade to a larger one when the fish out grows it... C'mon, you can't be serious... I think I smell a troll...

Yes, I can and am serious. After itoutgrows, I will convert this tank to a wicked reef setup, and just get a new sharks tank.

I wouldn't like to say my age online, but I'm 20-40. By the way, I'm DIY my tank. I'm going to buy the starphire panels, and put silicone to hold them togethor.

If you have it like that, then why not just pay someone to maintain this tank for you? BTW, you are going to need more than silicone to hold 750 gallons in a glass box.
