Sharks require ALOT of research so make sure you research on books and on this site...
Use the search button on this site theres a couple members on here with very good info on these amazing animals...
Oh yeah one thing i do know is it's better to have a type of square tank for sharks thats min 180 gallons so they can turn around easily and be less stressfull on them...just my .02

Tank should be 300+ gallons and as long and as wide as you can get it. Sharks swim left to right. Not up and down.
You will need a smaller tank. 40 to 50 gallon with no other fish to get the shark eating. Once it is an established eater you will need to move it within a month or or two to a larger tank. 250 would be good for a year or two.
To house it correctly 300+ gallons and long and wide not tall. Sand not crushed coral.

Banded cat shark. Nurse Shark. Coral cat shark. the normal sharks people put in 125 gallon tanks thinking its enough room. The same people who would put a Tessalata in 150 gallon tank. Or a green moray in a 180.
They may be okay for a little while but the sharks that are kept in captivity will out grow 125 gallon and even 180 gallon. Like I said as close to 300 gallons or more if you are doing more than 1shark. Check the agrressive section. Guy has a 3,000 gallon pond with pictures and the 3 sharks look right at home.

Here you go...
I don't have this guy anymore. Had my eppie for about 3 years before he outgrew my 225 gallon. He's still healthy and happy (in a 900 gallon lagoon).
