Not quite,Sharks are usually picked by admin himself.Most of the time the other sharks reccomend a member for the possition,but the final decision is made by our one and only Rouge Shark.Then this "new shark" must pass a series of specially designed skill assesment tests.Like the DRY hotdog eating contest...Or the tree climbing challange...Or typing a post with your toes.....It's not easy,and can get pretty ugly sometimes.Like when sammy kicked me out of the tree..But it works.

Oh yeah, and Mr. Salty forgot to tell you that only the elite few can attain the final status of Shark...and boy, do those few have everything going for them!

hey damsels can be aggressive too....lol, but then I have never heard of a man eating damsel before.

There are MANY contests,I just mentioned a few...We used to have one that envolved a garden hose and a golf ball.But beth was the only shark that ever tried that one,so we dropped it....(hope you understand my TWISTED humor here,It's only a joke)
