I see some new pics on your homepage! Like some 2 foot Bonnets perhaps! Have you gone "collecting" recently?

Thats really nice. What kind of filtration do have going on that? how did you get your salt. do you make your own salt?

No the collection trip is the first week of August. If only you knew of the headache that went into setting it up. I had to change the date on last time as my wife was called for Jury duty the week that it last was scheduled for, arghhhhhh!!!!! Anyway this is still prime for the bonnets and sharpies. I have a charter set up with a local shark guide who seems as thrilled as I am about going after little sharks. I have also been invited to a fishing bash that is going to be held on a local beach over night and will probably have all the help I could want in targeting sharks. The only downside was that the guy who offered the use of both himself and his boat will be away on business, hence the charter boat trip. The pics on my site are new of the bonnet that I already have, he's grown quite a bit since I got him nine monthes ago. I found a new home for the dogfish as I am making room for two black tips. Two of them went to the aquarium and one went to a local high school for their lagoon.
condork, the filtration system was built by me ( well atleast the bulk and some commerical equipment). It is a 350 gallon plastic tank that I divided into compartments for the bio-balls, a sump for one skimmer, and a heater area. There are three pumps running the pool, two 2.5 hp and one 1.5 hp. The smaller just provides some current and the others run the bio-filter and the sand filter. I had, originally, purchased a large commercial skimmer but was never really satifisified with its performance so I built two others that , IMHO, work very well. Yes I make my own salt mix. Basically for what most spend on a 200 gallon mix, I can make about 1500 gallons. I have also used this mix in my fish only and reef tanks, with no apparent ill effects.
