more when I was there in the shark tank they had about five blacktips. The males were following one female and were trying to grab the females side fin or they were about to mate . Pretty cool.

Thats too bad, that moray was quite the sight when I was there. It was FEEDING TIME and the DIVERS WERE IN THERE!!!! :scared: He was probably 12-13 feet long AT LEAST and about as thick around as a basketball AT LEAST. I took pics of him, but I dont have a scanner and at the time I didnt have a digital camera, so there is no way I can show u guys...

I'm sorry but after watching a news special about a month ago, I will not EVER walk atop an aquarium. I believe it was in California, and there was a thing where u could walk on top of the aquarium and below it was filled was black tips, and hammerheads, etc. AHHH!! LOL. Well, the ONE time they let visitors up there (it was for employees only) it fell through and several YOUNG children fell into the tank. The sharks did not attack because they were used to the divers going in the tank, but still, for a 3 year old, falling into a shark tank. I feel bad for those little guys...

ROLTFLMAO!!!!
If you knew my step-kids and step-grandkids it would have scared the hell out of the sharks!

I doubt the sharks would have recovered.

yea thats a pretty crazy story. black tips scare very quickly. i got to go behind the scenes at shedd because my boss actually is a volunteer at the shedd and dives in the carribean reef. besides that i clean a 2000 gallon tank with 4 black tips and whenever i take the lids off they go crazy splashin and jetting from side to side. ive never had a problem with them they are pretty used to me getting in the tank since i do it every week. there also is a pretty nice white tip . www.gofishaquariums.com go to the gallery.
