Unless it's stated on the bottle, but is there a recommended period to use vitamins or supplements? My concern is the 2-part solutions like C-balance or B-ionic. I've had them over a year but no longer than that.
Good question, I'll bump for you. I know that lfs can have these products on the shelf for awhile, so not sure. I would think that once opened, that would be quite a different question.

It should have a shelf life on it. You can use it past the one year mark. After two years, you may want to toss it and buy new.
Ok, cause I looked all over the bottles and no expiration date, so I assume there still ok! Does that go for the API water and reef test kits as well? I was told they only last 1 year and after that water test results may be off, I personally did not see a difference.
Just got a reply back from the company. "The shelf life is indefinite-- it does not go bad. I presume that the lid has remained on so that it has not evaporated. Evaporation of one part could throw off the balanced ratio when you dose equal amounts of A and B." I guess I'm good to go!

Test kits do go bad. I have seen it the most with the ammonia reading. It commonly will give a false .25 reading.
