Shelf life

I'am planning on mixing my own saltwater from now on because I feel I can do it better than the guy I get it from. I have some red sea salt leftover from about 5 years ago in a tupperware container. I was wondering if this would be ok to use?

Red Sea brand? Probably, mix it up and test it for everything before you use it just to be safe. But if it was sealed in a tupperware container, contaminants from the air should have been unable to get at it, as long as you burped the Tupperware. lol
