Shells for Hobby Lobby? msg

I found some really nice shells at Hobby Lobby, they have a very slight smell of bleach but other wise seem untouched. Do you think that after a good cleaning and a long soak, they would be safe to use in my 120 FO tank? I'm wanting the bigger ones for my gobies to hide in, and the others can be scattered around the tank.

See who makes the shells, look them up online, and then contact them to see if they are treated with anything. I got a net bag of shells from walmart made by US Shell Inc. and they told me that they were not treated with anything. I boiled them for a bit, put them in the tank and haven't had any problems.

I used the shells from Hobby Lobby and have had no problems. I just rinsed them and then boiled them for awhile.

I bought some shells from the Wal Mart craft section. I boiled them about 10 minutes, and placed them in the tank. So far two crabs have moved into the new shells.
