Well when ive helped other people, especially in disease forum, and they have no indication of their setup etc it prolongs the thread as you ahve to ask, then there is always something they leave out. And sometimes, although maybe a bit far fetched, can endanger the life of a fish if you need to give advice but cant without knowing all the info. Also in the newbie forum, people ask your set up, well they can just look at my sig
