She's back!

I haven't seen the blenny for three days and had given her up for dead. Looked at the tank this AM and there she was! Why would she hide for so long? Maybe she was laying eggs? I've only had her for three weeks.

3 days? I had a wrasse dissapear for almost 4 weeks. I was trying to let tank go fallow so I pulled everything out of tank removed all fish and gave them away. I thought he was dead though I did sift through the sand looking for him anyway. Anyway I had like 3 or 4 days left to have been fallow for a month and I was at the LFS talking about it and trying to order a pair of clarkii's and when I came home here was the wrasse swimming around the tank like nothing ever happened. It floored me. All the rock was in buckets for 5 days because I was systematically mantis hunting all the rocks so I am still not sure where the fish hid.
BTW I am glad your blennie reappeared.

i've got a yellow watchman goby that rarely ever shows its face. a lot of times i forget it's even in there. but every now and then i'll see it come out of the rock work somewhere and snag some food. my peppermint shrimp are the same way, but i know they're nocturnal; i usually catch a glimpse of them in the mornings before work when the light is still off.
