shipping mess up

For some reason when they shipped my package they put a hold on it and its sitting at fed ex.
It's suppose to be here tomorrow....
i ordered 20 blue leg crabs and a horshoe crab and some plants...
Should i deny the package in the morning or should i open it and hope there still alive?
I dont want to get stuck with the bill......
Ideas?

Do you know for a fact that its held up? If your looking at the online tracking information it is rarely correct after the 2nd update.

i talked to fedex and they said that it will spend the night there and be droped off in the morning.
That will be 48 hours in the boxs..... any hope?

They inject oxygen into the bags so hopefully there is enough in there. I'd be worried about toxic levels of ammonia building up in the bags. I'd go ahead and accept the package. If anything is dead Saltwaterfish treats their customers very well and I'm sure they will refund your money or repalce the lost livestock.

if it ever happens again tell fed ex its live stuff and it will die if it isnt delivered right away. helps if you sound like your going to cry

, also offer to run into their office and pick it up tell them you will open box there so they can see it really was live stuff.
