Short spine urchin

Got this little guy about 3 weeks ago he seems to be happy and always on the move. So how does one know if it's being fed properly will it eat chaeto, have rubble rock covered in algae in the sump should I toss in a piece or just leave him be. Interesting how he covers himself in shells for camouflage.

they are herbivors. You can tie a piece of nori to a rock and put it near him. If he lasted this long without losing his spines he should be good for the long term.
