can you get a bigger filter? It looks good so far, just zoas for coral of what? some acans would look awesome.
to the true master of a NANO tank.

I'm going to get some GSP, zoas (in abundance), cloves and a hairy mushroom(my favorite type).
oh ya I finally measured my tank and it holds .52g
Its finally moving along

like about 1/4 of a cup because I have it partially covered. I'm just waiting for my float switch to come in to continue my DIY ATO

I just bought more LEDs (3 Cree XR-E; 2 Royal Blue and 1 Neutral White)
they are going to have a dimmimg option so that they won't fry my zoos and mushrooms

a dimmable buckpuck. My plan is to make it dim enough to be able to put them into my canopy

awesome, what aluminum, U-channel? And i would do 2 XP-E royal blues and 1 XP-G R5 Cool white LED. The XP-G put out more light so with the Royal blue it should be like 12k-14k light.

darn you should have told me I already placed my order its okay. It wasn't to expensive and most of what I'm doing is very experimental for the most part

ya mine to..... i need help assorting my led's.
i am using 3 Royal blue, 1 cool white, and 1 red on 1 12" bar. how should i arrange them? any ideas greatly appreciated.

to tell you the truth i'm not a fan of 20k, seems a little unatural. I perfer 12k

i'm curious to see what you can actually fit in here. 3lbs of rock seems like it would pretty much fill this thing up.
