should I be worried?

I have a feather duster and a coco worm and the coco worm hasnt came out for the past day. I can see its feathers inside the tube but I havent seen ut come out. the feather duster us constantly out. the feather duster has been in the tank for over 2 weeks and the coco for just over 1 week. I have been trying to feed them with microvert.

i think they should be fine give it a couple of days.

I just fed them and it came out but didnt fully open up and has gone back into the tube again

i have mini ones on some rocks and they dont come out for a few days at a time.

Have they been out in the 2 weeks before that? what else is in the tank?
A day isn't really a long time for a feather duster to be in for IMO but I'm not 100% sure

the other tank inhabitants are just the feather duster and then some fish. could there be a fish nipping at it and causing it to stay in the tube?

That would be my guess. depends on what you have. watch it for a while and see if anythings picking on it too.

As long as it is coming in and out, you know it's alive....just give it some more time

Hi there,
Mine did that, it would comeout fully than it would not retract fully. After awhile it lost it's crown than shortly after shrivel up and died. There was something in the water it did not liked, till this day not sure what it was.

Maybe it's full from all of the microvert you have been feeding it.
