should i buy the tank?

a friend of mine is selling a 29 gallon biocube for 250 with a stand....what do you guys think? are there better deals out there?

Does it come with anything else besides tank and stand? If not I would not really consider it that great of a deal.

it has the hood with lights.....but other than that no. just a basic biocube...

If I were you and I could get him to come down to 200 I would buy it.

I would look for better deals, sounds like an attempt to recoup original cost

FYI online sites are running $230 to $299 for the cube and $130 to $180 for the stand new before shipping.
No real opinion here just thought the info would help a bit

Craigslist = Win. You can find bigger tanks than that for cheaper, and build your own stand and come up with a simmaler price.

Its not always about bigger in this hobby. well too some its not. IMo you would have way more fun with a 30 gallon breeder which can be had for $250 new with stand. The 30g breeder tank has a better foot print and would allow for better corlas and more fish.
