My LFS told me to get rid of my cyanobacteria I should cut my feedings to every other day. Is this true? I have a foxface, Coral Beauty, Firefish, 2 Clowns.
my LFS feeds once a day. but not a lot. only enough to keep them alive but not enough for them to grow any while there.
but if you do cut your feeding down to every other day as soon as you start feeding every day it will probably come back unless you fix the problem of why you have it in the first place.

I only feed around 3 times a week to eliminate excess nutrients, but still remembering a varied diet to keep the fish healthy and vibrant.
+1 with the exception of algea sheets for my tang... that's everyday...
+1, I also found that switching to a quality pellet food helps. There is alot less waste that stays in the tank as opposed to frozen. I used this method to get rid of cyano.

Ocenasidefish, What pellet food did you switch to?
I am pretty sure its the Spectrum Brand....But I would have to double check to be honest with you. I know there are no added phosphates.
