Should I frag it?

ok vote. should I frag it for my fragging thread or let it grow and frag it later?

Candycane, its a type of LPS

candy cane or trumpet coral. its an LPS.
Fed, if I frag it I have to take one side off because the flesh is still connected between the heads except at that one intersection. so I will end up with two 4 head colonies. wich is a pretty good start. I originally started with this as a double head. now its about 8.

frag it. there's a big seperation in the middle so it would probably look nicer if you seperated it IMO

You know what I like...seeing a tank with lots of large corals. An obviously established tank. Don't see those to often.
If you want 2 frags, buy another one and let them both grow. Big beautiful corals should be your goal and frag them when they get TO big, and invade each others space... Not now...

LMAO thats probably the reason my tank doesnt look like its been set up for a long time, I'm constantly fragging everything. so nothing really has the chance to look like an established tank, even though my sand has probably been live longer than a lot of better more established looking tanks.

my goal right now is variety rather than size. I'm the type who will trade 8 polyps of something I have for 2 of something I dont.

majority rules, I'm going to wait untill all the heads seperate to frag it then pick one or two on the outer edge to frag off it. sould be about a month maybe two. I'll just have to start spot feeding it to speed the growing process along.

yep it is and its very expensive !!!!
