Should I get a Brittle Starfish?

I wasn't sure if I should get a brittle starfish or not. I have heard bad things and good. I've also read that they release ammonia but protien skimmers get rid of it. What do you think? I am going to have 10 turbos and 10 others snails (I have 4 right now), I am also going to have 20 scarlet hermits and have one hermit right now. Also I have 2 blue damsel fish and will get other fish later. My tank is 40g, 75lb. or lr and 90lb. of ls. Would a brittle be safe/happy? Also my tank is almost 6 weeks old and I run a Bak-Pak 2, wavemaker, powerhead, carbonfilter, and I have currently a cheap flourescent light (but will upgrade to a mh someday). Well just leave your opinions and they are all apreciated.

what your thinking of are the green brittles (the bad fish eaters) common brittles are fine infact 1 have 2 3 inch leggers in my 55 as well as one monster foot long tentacled red one that i just feed krill occasionally
