Should I keep 2 filters on or will one be fine?

Currently I have 2 Emporer 400 filters on my FOWLRLS. As soon as I get the shipment from SWF I will have 50# of LR. The sandbed is about 3" of CC and LS. So do you think I'd be ok if I eliminated one of the filters? They seem to be working good I just would like to get rid of something hanging off the back of the tank.

Well I mainly use Emperors on all my tanks (including my reef and I love the things). Now a 75 if you are running 2 you would turn the water approx. 10 times where most articles I have read recommend at the min about 6. On my 65 I run 1 400. On my 125 and 135 I run 2. On my 58's I run the reef with a 400 and the Big Dogs tank with a 280 and a Skilter 250. After all these years I think your 75 would do better with 1 (which also frees up the back for other toys such as a Skimmer or UV.
