Ive had ammonia and.high.nitrites for several days now and not going down. Should I stop feeding my new cycline tank?

when your ammonia turns 0 and your nitrites are 0 your nitrates should go up and then you do a water change about 10%. feed your tank another week and if your ammonia stays at 0 your tank is cycled

it can take a while for the bacteria to break down ammonia to form. one way to help it is to detoxify the ammonia with prime, the ammonia is still there in a bio available form but is not toxic this will help bacteria grow a little faster.

what do you mean by feeding your tank ?
By feeding I mean ghost feeding to start the nitrogen.process.

Once you introduce something for organic breakdown you start the growth of bacteria necessary for nitrification, which I am sure you already know. There is no need to continue to ghost feed until you reach levels of ammonia, and nitrites that are safe for fish. If you are not going to add fish immediately you then ghost feed to continue the nitrification process until you introduce a bio load with your fish.

Ok,so ur saying now that I have ammonia and nitrites to go ahead and stop ghost feeding and as soon as I have 0 ammonia and nitrayes to add a fish?
