Should I turn the lights on immediatly?

I'm recieveing my first batch of coral today. 2 red shrooms, 2 watermellon shrooms, yellow polyps, and orange centered zoas. My question is after I go and pick them up and get them home and into my tank do I automatically turn my lights on, or should I give the coral some time to adjust, and then turn on my lights?

I answered in your pm. but I will here too. Place them on the bottom, and slowly move up to where you want them. you can turn the lights on for a little while, them let them rest.

i think I'll let them rest and after i get back from class tonight turn the lights on for a few so my fiancee and mom can see them!!!
