My guess would be a higher amount of light put then a bulb that is a little longer.

he doesn't he has 12 36" bulbs which is 6 running the length of the tank.
I am going to build my canopy in the next couple days afterward I'll post pics
Changed some since this shot. Leathers are gone and starting to add more SPS corals. Also the back glass now has lots more GSP's on it
Nova Extreme Pro with different bulbs..........
Great tanks. Not trying to steal the thread but what is the differnce between t5 and VHOs?
T5 are 5/8" diameter. VHO (T12) are 1 1/2" diameter. You'll get more bang for your buck with the T5 with individual reflectors.
I have to take new pics of my tank to post.

looking great justin...
can you give me some more info on your lighting set up?
did you go from MH to T5? and if so thoughts on the matter...
cheers
I'm using the Aquactinics TX5 fixture with:
ATI Aquablue Special
ATI Blue Plus
ATI Procolor
ATI Blue Plus
ATI Aquablue Special
I upgraded from (3) 110w T12 VHO, and have never used halides before. Each has their pros and cons.
