Just wondering what everyone has for their background.
I am looking for a new one and am getting tired of the plain black and plain blue ones.
I also think the pictured ones I have seen look too fake.
If anyone has a cool background that they would like to share to give the rest of us ideas - PLEASE DO!

WOW, thats pretty.
Did that wall first start out green from algea and then covert to coraline algea for the pretty pink, purple etc? Any advise on how to get it that way and how long did it take?

mine looks like reefnuts. it didnt take that long to get that way about 6 mo.

Yeah algae covered the back at first but the coralline quickly took over. Coralline needs good alkalinity & calcium levels with low phosphates and medium lighting... that's about it.
Originally I painted the back black. I like just a solid black background myself... until it gets covered with coralline.

I dont have a cool background, but I have seen some with gold and/or silver foil for their background. And also GSP, it's really neat looking, to have your background swishing in the current!
