Shower Order...

What do you clean first?
Do you start from the top? (like shampoo your hair first then work your way down)? Do you start in the middle? (like soap your hands first, then your arms)? Or do you start from the bottom? (soaping your feet first).
What's your system? And why do you do it that way?
Discuss.

I am in such a sleepy haze when I get into the shower that I do not think I have an order or system. It's pure chaos I tell you..... Pure chaos....

I start with my head, then my face, then my hands & arms, then my chest & belly, then my back, then my feet, then my legs, and then my front "area", and lastly, the rear.
I have done it the same way as far back as I can remember.....

You don't really want to know my shower order.... I don't shower alone.

Correction, I shouldn't provide that information, regardless if you want to know.

soak the body, soak the hair; soap doesn't work without water.
once the hair is soaked through, I apply copius amounts of conditioner, comb through, and then put my hair up in a ponytail holder and allow the conditioner to soak into my hair through the duration of my shower.
Then it's on to the facial scrub; exfoliate gently, rinse.
Then body wash, applied with a loofah (replaced monthly, of course, bacteria breeding grounds, ladies!) and scrubbity scrub everywhere!
After everything is clean, I groom as needed,
and then it's back to the hair;
wash the conditioner out of it, and massage a teeny tiny smaller-than-dime-sized amount of shampoo into my SCALP ONLY, NEVER onto the shaft of my hair, and rinse clean.
Hair is like silk or cashmere; it's a precious fiber. We must treat it as such!!
One final rinse through, then off goes the water, shakey shakey off all the drippies, and towel dry starting with the face, down the front, up the legs to the back, ending with my hair and putting it up in the towel twist.
voila! c'est magnifique! i just LOVE being clean!!
