shrimp ID

Click Click Boom. That is the noise I heard in my 75 for over a year. I thought it was a mantis. So after messing up my nano tonight, I decided to pull apart my 75 and find this creature. Well after several bristle worms, 2 1/2 foot ick worm, I found this..........not a mantis............ please ID??? he is about 1/2 inch maybe long. some type of pistol shrimp??

Yep, it's a pistol shrimp.

hard to believe something that little can make such a big noise. I put him in my 3.5 nano but I think I'll move him back to the 75. I dunno if he had a she to go with him.
Thanks for the confirmation. I think he is some type of tiger pistol? Im trying to find a ID on him. There seems to be some 400+ species. So that may be a feat in itself.
