shrimp molting ?

i have a pepp shrimp and a cleaner shrimp. They seem to be molting about once or twice a week. Do you think this normal for them to be growing this fast?

that is fairly often. are you dosing with iodine? what is your s.g.?

Well the s.g. is 1.024, but that is from a hydrometer. I don't use iodine either.

how long have you had the shrimp?

pep about a couple of months. cleaner about a month.

what are the other parameters, and how did you acclimate the shrimp?

i have 2 pepp shrimp. i had them for a mounth now and they both are molting about once a week. i dont use iodine. and i did not acclimate them. i just threw them in the tank. there doing fine they took care of my aptasia!!..

my s.g. is 1.025
