shrimp???

I cycled my 65 in one week flat with 90 lbs. uncured live Fiji rock. I filled the tank with pre-mixed saltwater, let that sit for a couple of days, then add the rock and substrate. After one week with all the equipment running and about 4hrs of lights per day, only because I didn't want to stare at a black hole in my living room, the ammonia and trites were at 0, trates at 5, so I was ready for a cleaner crew in 7 days flat. No shrimp, no damsels! I actually added a royal gramma at the same time and I never had a problem at all. Today my 'new' tank is doing great ...check out the pics, taken after approx. 10 weeks after adding water to the tank. That's it for a while as I let everything settle in.
I tend to be against adding anything to speed up the process ...you need to have patience in this hobby from the beginning to do well and have a happy healthy tank.
I only added the royal gramma because it lost its home, so it was either my tank or the toilet, that was an easy decision!
