beth... If your a mod... Shouldnt we re start the poll? Otherwise there really isnt a point to have my pic in this contest since I started off with 18 less votes! I had 14+ votes for my photo when it was in the wrong category this morning.

Should they restart every poll where the pic was added late or not at all?

My bangaii cardinal was missed and didnt get added till the poll was allready way into it. No big deal,
I just sucked it uo. I think next time they should consider doing this the way I stated in the additional info thread..Item name. But they got more from this than they expected.

I thought maybe it would be good to clarify a difference between a Moderator and Admin since there seem to be confusion exhibited in this thread. The SWF.com Admin are putting on this contest, not the Moderators. From my knowledge the Moderators, well they moderate, make sure people aren't being making this a hostile environment. So I highly doubt a Moderator is going to play around with a contest set up by the SWF.com company and its admin.

guess they are not going to fix this huh? Doesnt seem fair. Not trying to complain but I just think the contest should be fair.

if its meant to be, you will still win,
Look at my mandarin photo, It came in late and is now winning by 50% or more.
If the photo is captivating enough that the crowd loves it, they will show it!
With 3000 members (I think)
Im sure it would work itself out.

Come on man, you can't even name some of the species correctly you are putting up...if you are taking the pictures you should know what they are. Between calling eveyone haters and now saying you're being cheated maybe you should either stop putting up pics or grow up and take some responisiblity...ever think there might be a reason why people aren't voting for you?

That's right!! Your gorgeous mandarin pic was added late, after others had gotten almost 20 votes and look at you now!
So, it really doesn't matter if it came in a little late, if people love the pic enough, they will vote for it! If it is that much better than anyone else's, their votes will be kind of at a "stand still", while yours continues to grow in votes.
