Shrimps eat feather dusters!

I went to a lfs last night and they were selling a handful of small white feather dusters for $5. They breed them right there in the store. So I bought a handful to take home to the aquarium because I think they're the coolest things.
Well, after acclimating them I took them out of the bag and placed them down on the sand. Then I watched my 3 peppermint shrimp bolt out of their hiding places and start pulling the worms out of their tubes and eating them!
I had no idea the shrimp would do this. Luckily I'm out only $5.
Stupid shrimp!

Peppermints can be little trouble makers...mine ate my aneome and rob my corals, despite the fact I feed them on a regular basis.

My peppermints were terrors, I watched them kill two fish I had just put in my tank, just for fun, they killed them then left the bodies, needless to say my tank no longer has peppermints. I also know they were not hungry at the time, just evil.

I was going to get rid of my coral banded and get something nice like a cleaner or pepermint. I had no idea they were agressive.

I had a peppermint shrimp and he hid most of the day and never caused a problem......he was so tame that my cleaner shrimp killed him....
by the way, i don't think peppermint shrimp have the weapons needed to kill a fish....
